Best 30 Day At Home Fitness Routine for Beginners

I’ll say it again in case you missed it: The best at home fitness routine for beginners is the one you won’t burn out on. Staying consistent when working out, especially in the beginning, involves working exercise into your daily life. This approach is effective because it helps build ROUTINE so you can keep your long-term fitness goals instead of burning out on motivation.

In reality, exercise and fitness are really just moving your body and building strength. Remember high school gym class when you had to run around the gym 5 times, do some sit-ups, push-ups, and lunges, then play kickball or whatever? I bet you were in pretty solid shape then, in comparison to now. It is truly all about moving your body a little bit every day to create consistency and work toward the healthiest version of you!

If you haven’t worked out consistently, say, since February last year, this is for you. Do not underestimate the power of week-by-week progress, and do not make it more complicated than it needs to be.

What is the 80/20 lifestyle?

Before we dive into the actual fitness routine, let’s quickly chat about 80/20. While the concept of an 80/20 lifestyle has taken the internet by storm, it can be difficult to figure out how it can fit into your own life. Well, here is the secret: think of it like weekdays vs weekends.

If you eat a high protein wholefoods diet Sunday – Thursday, or Monday – Friday, or whatever works best for your schedule, the other two days you can really enjoy as your weekend. It is the same thing with exercise, too. If you are able to fit some squats and arm workouts in while your coffee is brewing and get your steps in the evening 5 days a week, you will not only see results but find over time that you are less drawn to how bad food, alcohol, and couch rotting on your 2 days of rest.

It is actually way easier to live the 80/20 lifestyle than it seems. When you are a beginner, it is all about figuring out what works in your actual daily routine instead of trying to change your routine to accommodate different habits.

So let’s dive into the actual beginner workout routine that really works!
